The team took advantage of a bottleneck in the clay drying by taking a trip to the site of a future filter project in Bislig. The site is situated near a school which will teach water safety and include the students in the project setup and future use. There is a definite need here not only because of an unreliable rainy season but because there is a common condition here known as Schistosomiasis which is caused by a deadly parasite in the local water supply. Though Potters for Peace is always willing to accept donations, this would be a particularly important project to consider giving to.
